Python Job: Senior Electronics Engineer - Product Care and Pro

We are looking for an electronics developer to strengthen our interdisciplinary department of software, electronics and mechanical engineers. In this challenging position, you will have the opportunity to maintain and develop electronics for medical instruments and labor automatisation systems. The instruments contain, among other things, robotics, handling and optical systems, sensoric, etc.

The team is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland.

Your tasks will contain:

• All phases of electronics development from feasibility studies, writing technical specifications, simulations, creating schematics and integration into the system.

• Evaluation, parametrization and verification of drives for mechatronic modules.

• Verification of modules, system tests, endurance tests, proof of conformity tests, environmental simulations.

• Development and documentation of electronic hardware, consisting, for example, of work packages like safety, power distribution, wiring and cables, robotics integration, PLC component selection and programming, EMC, etc. in a regulated environment.

• Concept creation and evaluation for electronic designs and electronic architectures on instrument and labor automation system level.

• Participation in the definition of work packages, their estimation and planning in an agile environment.

• Creating and updating technical documentation and deliverables for development projects.

To be successful in this role you bring:

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electronic Engineering or a related field.

• Deep know-how in development of electronic hardware (analog and digital circuits, schematics, PCBA design, PLC).

• Work experience in EMC and UL/TÜF safety standard conform designs (IEC/EN 61010-1, IVD/IVDR).

• Experience in Embedded Systems, ECAD (Mentor), PLC (B&R), STM32 Microcontrollers, Matlab & Simulink, Python, C++.

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Strong team and customer orientation in an interdisciplinary environment

• Fluent written and spoken German and English is a must.
